Well Gia lasted almost 3 weeks in the cold, wet and sometimes snowy Bowling Green Kentucky. Did I mention cold? One thing for sure, I got to drag out that new winter coat I bought a few years ago.
On March 28th we made the journey south to Navarre Florida. Navarre Beach Campground was the only place we found to accommodate our coach. We were coming to spend Easter with Justin’s family and the spot available had headed north to spend Easter with their family. A win win for everyone.
We loved the spots at this campground and the views of sound.
We were able to surprise the girls, attend our oldest granddaughter’s first soccer game and Easter egg hunt all in one great weekend.
I was able to go to Destin and surprise my sisters and brothers and attend Ricky’s surprise 57th Birthday party. Ricky was surprised and it was great to spend time with everyone.
Due to strong storms moving across the country with strong winds we extended this stay by two days. During the in park move Roger found a problem with a slide motor so it looks like good timing to stop off in Red Bay on our way to Kentucky. Just like a stick and brick house, our home on wheels requires maintenance too. We will try to maximize the trip and get into the Diesel shop for a service while we are in the area.
We plan to return to Bowling Green until mid May when we are heading to Disneyland to meet Justin and his family. Oh, by the way, Roger can’t wait to go to Magic Kingdom again (Not)!
